Xero is so easy to use once it’s been set up correctly, and as your trusted Xero accountant, we’re always happy to help our clients set up their Xero accounts to ensure everything works seamlessly. We also recommend connecting Xero to your bank accounts, as that saves so much time on data entry, plus makes reconciling the bank such a quick task.
You can send invoices while you’re out and about through the mobile app, or even set up recurring invoices that are sent automatically on a set date each month. Invoices can also include a ‘Pay Now’ button and, to further help your cash flow, you can even add a link to a payment processor, such as GoCardless, to collect money automatically. There’s even an option to let Xero remind customers about outstanding payments with automated reminders.
By linking your Xero account to an app such as Dext, it creates a paperless office that remains HMRC compliant. There are also plenty of other apps you can add to make cash flow or profit forecasting simpler. The easy-to-read charts mean you have an up-to-date picture of your business accounts wherever you are, as you can access this information either in the office, or when you’re out and about via the mobile app.
